Velez-Malaga

Velez-Malaga the capital of the Axarquia region and with the city's 53,000 residents you will find a busy and exciting business life, restaurants and bars of all types. The city oozes of history, and there are many interesting historic ruins and castles from both the Roman and Arab invasion.

 

Vélez-Málaga is located approx. 30 km east of Malaga and 2 km from the coastal town of Torre del Mar. You find everything you need like; supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, tapas bars, market, waterpark, banks etc. You also find the very big shopping center El Ingenio with the large Eroski supermarket.
