Algarrobo & Algarrobo Costa

Algarrobo consists of two parts. There is Algarrobo Costa, located on the Mediterranean and then there is the more peaceful and undisturbed Algarrobo Pueblo, which lies a few kilometers away.

 

Algarrobo Costa was originally a fishing village but is now mostly tourist center with accommodation buildings and a large selection of restaurants and bars. Close to the Caleta de Velez and Torre del Mar.

 

The surrounding villages Torrox, Velez-Malaga and Torre del Mar are all very well-known and popular resorts on the Costa del Sol east of Malaga. So even if you live privately in the mountains, you are still close to ‘everything’ and can enjoy all the popular activities as; hiking, white villages, art, shopping, water park, beach, go-cart, flamenco dancing, bullfighting, golf, soccer or something entirely different.
